- Durable PFC-free water-repellent treatment: Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated compounds, also known as PFCs, are a group of fluorinated substances that have long been used as durable water repellents for clothing in the outdoor industry are very bad for the environment because they are very stable and don't break down easily in nature.
