The main textile of this jacket is a permanent waterproof barrier with more insulation than the Schloss Tex 3L textile of the RS Targa rain jacket. The fabric's elasticity means it can be layered for four seasons over gear ranging from summer jerseys to heavier winter jackets. The reflective strip on the back keeps you visible in overcast and low-light conditions, and the inner chest pocket is large enough to stow gloves when the weather calls for extra hand protection.
