The Ortles Medium 3 down jacket is Salewa's latest addition to its range of warm, insulating mountaineering layers. It combines the warmth of down with a very compact, minimalist size. Whether you wear it as an insulating mid-layer or as an outer layer, the 750 cuin 90/10 Responsible Down Standard filling and insulating TirolWool® Responsive hybrid inserts are specifically positioned to retain the heat needed for different parts of the body. TirolWool® Responsive padding also continues to keep you warm even when wet, which is why it's used on the hood, shoulders and cuffs

The lightweight, abrasion-resistant nylon ripstop outer fabric is ideal for alpine use. Features an adjustable, fitted hood at the back and a high collar for impeccable protection against storms. Featuring our free-flowing quilting pattern and ergonomic sleeves and shoulders to prevent hem lift during climbing. This jacket takes up very little space when folded into its own integrated pack-it pocket, and features a two-slider front zipper for greater adaptability, including unimpeded access to harness and belay device.
