It is both durable thanks to the technical polyamide outer fabric and absolutely waterproof and windproof thanks to the Ceplex Green membrane. In addition to the highly breathable membrane, it has ventilation zips that ensure a pleasant body climate. Its cut is perfectly adapted to the needs of mountaineering. The armadillo was the inspiration for the preformed elbows and the hood. During even long climbs, the jacket does not fall out of the harness; the adjustable hood can be worn with a helmet. The large, raised front pockets offer enough room for gloves and map and remain accessible even when wearing a harness or backpack. Thanks to its cut and material, this technical stretch hardshell jacket ensures perfect freedom of movement and combines functionality with environmental friendliness. The textile materials are certified according to the bluesign® system, the world's strictest standard for textile products in terms of environmental and consumer protection. We use recycled and bio-based materials in the production of the membrane. The membrane is also completely free of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs) and PTFE. The VAUDE Green Shape label guarantees an environmentally friendly, functional product made of sustainable materials.
