Description

The Shimano Ultegra R8000 front derailleur incorporates the design and operating principles of the DURA-ACE R9100. Its redesigned mechanism eliminates the traditional long lever arm while maintaining fast, smooth, and precise chainring shifts, thanks to a system integrated directly into the shifter. Its more compact design also makes it easier to install wider tires by minimizing the risk of rubbing. Weighing 106 g, it features an optimized design that offers greater tolerance for extreme chain crossings. Finally, its Allen-head adjustment screw allows for easy cable tension adjustment without requiring an additional adjustment knob on the housing.
