The Ekar GT rear derailleur is the result of Campagnolo's incomparable experience and remarkable ingenuity, acquired and refined over more than 90 years of innovation.

The 1x system and 13 speeds guarantee efficiency, and the use of a 9-tooth sprocket provides a full range of ratios with short, equidistant shifts and well-maintained cadence levels. The technology, design and materials have been designed to meet the specific performance requirements of off-road and gravel enthusiasts. The combination of fast, precise and reliable gear shifting, together with maximum chain safety, lightness, durability and sturdiness, means that it is right at home in the off-road world.

The design of the rear derailleur, with a medium-length cage, is compatible with the different sprocket sizes on the four cassette shifting options, from 9-36 to 10-48T, making it ideal for all gravel requirements. The 2D trajectory of the parallelogram is specifically designed for the Ekar GT 1x system, so that the rear derailleur makes precise mechanical movements to make the best use of the 13 sprockets. Its oversized rollers ensure perfect operation and optimum chain retention for safety and peace of mind, whatever the terrain you're riding on.

The clevis braking system, permanently engaged for more reliable chain retention and quieter operation, can be locked forward to facilitate wheel removal.

More than 70 parts have been carefully designed and developed for the Ekar GT rear derailleur alone. Carbon-fibre-reinforced polyamide and anodised alloys 7075 and 6082 have been ingeniously used in the body and cage of the Ekar GT rear derailleur to ensure maximum strength, durability and lightness, reliable long-term operation and excellent resistance to the shocks, sand and dust of gravel courses. What's more, the bolts are made from steel SUBJECT TO A SPECIAL SURFACE TREATMENT to ensure they last longer in the toughest conditions.
