The Shimano XTR BL-M9220 is a hydraulic disc brake lever designed to deliver powerful, precise, and consistent braking control in all conditions. Its advanced ergonomics naturally adapt to the hand’s movements to ensure excellent feedback and optimal modulation on the most technical sections.
Thanks to its new pivot point positioned closer to the handlebars, the lever follows the natural arc of the finger to provide a more natural riding position. Its 5-degree raised lever blade and graduated reach adjustment allow the lever position to be precisely tailored to each rider.
The redesigned SERVO WAVE system optimizes the power curve while minimizing friction. Combined with a new low-viscosity mineral oil, it ensures reliable and consistent braking power, regardless of temperature and terrain conditions.
The alloy lever blade is manufactured using Shimano’s proven forging process to ensure excellent durability. The BL-M9220 can be paired with the M9220 Enduro or M9200 XC calipers to create a setup tailored to your riding style, whether it’s enduro or cross-country.
