Description

The Exogen 2 is a freestanding hybrid tent for two people, featuring two vestibules. Two aluminum hubs on the poles ensure excellent wind stability. The inner tent is set up first. The additional pole forms the vestibule once the flysheet is pitched. Its freestanding design not only makes setup easier but also offers great flexibility for camping on various types of terrain. The inner tent is equipped with mosquito nets at the doors, as well as at the ends (foot and head). Thanks to its high walls, its total length of 225 cm is fully utilized. Two large mesh pockets provide storage for your belongings and offer extra space for various small items.

Its folded dimensions are optimized for bikepacking. By removing the poles, the length of the carry bag is reduced to just 25 cm, ideal for traveling light. The tent and poles can be stored separately.

ADVANTAGES:

Reversed loops: These loops make it easy to attach the inner tent to the flysheet. Even without additional stakes, you can pitch the flysheet with one hand, as the loops are positioned in the direction of tension.
Pole clips: Thanks to the Wechsel pole clips, the inner tent attaches and sets up quickly.
APEX ventilation: The guy lines are made of high-strength Dyneema. Woven reflective threads make them more visible. The tensioners allow for simple and secure adjustment.
APEX ventilation flaps: Thanks to the upstream ventilation flaps, airflow is optimized between the inner liner and the flysheet, helping to regulate humidity and temperature. Securely integrated into the seams, they do not need to be opened and close with Velcro strips to prevent them from flapping noisily in the wind.
Color-coded: The pole tips and corresponding strap eyelets are color-coded. This color-coding allows for quick and easy setup.
