The lightweight 2-person bivy bag nestles easily into the hollow of the avalanche shovel stowed in the backpack, thanks to its compact A4 sheet-like format. It repels wind and weather at the summit, or acts as a shelter in the event of sudden weather changes; its zip at the top serves as a viewing and ventilation window. Thanks to its tension loops, it can also be used as a tarp shelter. In emergencies, it protects injured people from hypothermia and can be used as a makeshift stretcher. The waterproof, non-breathable material is water- and dirt-repellent, PFC-free Eco Finish for added stability and weight. VAUDE's Green Shape label guarantees an ecological, functional product made from sustainable materials.
