The Alto TR1 is a one-person, semi-freestanding tent designed for all your spring, summer, and fall adventures. It bridges the gap between ultralight tents and those that are more spacious and comfortable. Enjoy the unmatched space that the Tension Ridge™ pole system (patent pending) provides, along with unprecedented interior height, a large entrance, and a spacious vestibule for storing your gear. The adjustable and efficient ventilation system, combined with multiple pitching options, makes this tent the epitome of comfort and versatility. While the Alto TR1 weighs just 938g (minimum weight), this tent offers a multitude of intuitive features, such as the FairShare system, with its dual-purpose bags that can be attached to the tent for extra storage, or the Lightbar lighting system. Featuring a mesh inner tent and some of the world’s most high-performance poles (DAC’s Featherlite NFL and PRESSFIT), the ultra-lightweight Alto TR1 is ready to accompany you on your fast-and-light adventures.

• Tension Ridge lifts the tent’s shape upward for more usable head and shoulder room and creates significantly taller doors for easier entry and more storage in the vestibule.
• The color-coded set of ultra-strong, lightweight DAC NSL poles and quick-connect pole feet make setup a breeze.
• Designed for durability and superior waterproof performance using premium materials, including DAC poles, YKK zippers, 7-series aluminum hardware, and a PE-coated fly with taped seams.
• FairShare storage system: Tents pack into 3 storage bags to distribute the load. Once set up, the storage bags double as gear pockets.
• Light Bar: Attach a headlamp and secure the tent pole storage bag to the top of the tent for soft, even lighting.
• The rainfly can be set up first for dry setup and takedown.

CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS:

• The 15 cm deep 15D nylon floor is rated at 1200 mm hydrostatic head—ultralight, waterproof, and durable.
• Ultra-lightweight 15D polyester mesh interior for maximum ventilation. Its dark gray color offers excellent visibility.
• The 15D nylon rain fly, coated with silicone/polyether polyurethane, offers durable waterproof performance.
• The ridge poles are swept upward—not angled downward as is common in tents. This enhances the tent’s shape, providing significantly more living space.
• Apex Vent - at the highest point of the tent, this oversized vent effectively expels hot air to prevent condensation and can be easily closed with a zipper from inside the tent.
• The base vents allow you to control airflow and effectively manage humidity and condensation in damp conditions without letting rain in.
• The quick-connect foot is a beautifully designed machined aluminum clip that easily secures the pole and inner foot and is stronger than plastic loops that can break.
