Choosing the right sized bike depends on the type of bike, your height, your riding style, and your preference. A correct fitting bike will be more comfortable, more efficient and more fun to ride

What to do if you are in between bike sizes?

If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.

Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
  • If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
  • On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

Cube design expertise is the name of the game for the Kathmandu's Trapeze frame. Its Integrated Carrier 3.0 is designed to work seamlessly with our Acid mudguard. We've fitted a flat mount for the rear disc brake – it also accommodates the kickstand – and used Smooth Welding to give the frame joints a tidy, organic appearance. But it's not all about looks. We also equipped the rear end with a thru-axle and added a tapered head tube for improved rigidity and steering precision, even when fully laden. With Internal Cable Routing to complement the frame's clean lines, we reckon we've thought of everything. Just don't forget your toothbrush.

Cube's design team ensured the Kathmandu Pro has everything you need and nothing that you don't. From the elegant simplicity of the Integrated Carrier 3.0 to the full-length mudguards, front and rear lights and Cube FM kickstand, it's the practical everyday companion that's rugged enough to take on longer trips, too. A SR Suntour air suspension fork makes even the roughest roads smoother, for a more comfortable ride. Schwalbe Green Marathon tires use recycled rubber, to reduce their environmental impact. Shimano's Cues 2x10 gears give you the range you need to make light work of any route. And Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure you can always stop safely, no matter what you're carrying or what the weather is throwing your way. Urban jungle or distant horizon, the Kathmandu Pro has your back.
