Pride Racing is proud to present the Fusion hub, the most advanced hub system in the range, the most refined and efficient to date. The FUSION is the result of years of rider feedback, real-world testing, and precision engineering. Developed to meet the increasing demands of modern BMX racing, it combines extremely fast engagement, ultra-low drag, long-term durability, and incredibly low weight. Why the FUSION? With evolving frame and drivetrain standards, and riders demanding faster engagement without compromising freewheel smoothness, the development of FUSION focused on three performance goals: maximizing engagement precision, reducing drivetrain drag, and maintaining low weight without sacrificing durability.

At the heart of the FUSION hub is a cleverly designed 6-pawl drive system. Each of the six pawls is offset and works in groups of 3 that engage simultaneously, distributing the load evenly. The pawls engage every 3° in the 60-tooth ring, creating 180 engagement points. This system allows for quick engagement with reduced stress on individual components and better control off the line and in corners.

One of the main design objectives of the FUSION hub was to reduce drag, particularly in high cadence and low load scenarios, which are common in BMX racing. To achieve this, the hub is equipped with high-end low-friction bearings, and the spring tension and pawl interface have been optimized to maintain precise engagement without excessive rolling resistance. Despite its durability and precision, the FUSION hub weighs only 290 g ±5%.

The result is a hub that spins freely and allows you to maintain your speed, which is particularly noticeable during warm-up laps, manuals, or high-speed sections where the smoothness of the freewheel makes a real difference. This makes the FUSION one of the lightest BMX racing hub systems available—without resorting to exotic materials or compromising reliability.

To solve one of the most common problems in BMX, interference between the caliper and the spokes, the FUSION rear hub has been precisely optimized for 120 mm rotors with better clearance between the spokes and the caliper, a cleaner disc brake interface, and better reduction of flex and disc friction during braking.
