Choosing the right sized bike depends on the type of bike, your height, your riding style, and your preference. A correct fitting bike will be more comfortable, more efficient and more fun to ride

What to do if you are in between bike sizes?

If you are on the edge of two different bike sizes, don't worry, you'll probably be ok on either size (rather than thinking that one size will be awful and the other will fit). Indeed, bikes are adjustable: the seatpost can slide up and down, the saddle can move backwards and forwards and you can even switch out parts like the stem for different sized ones to help the bike fit better.

Finding out whether or not you should pick a bigger or a smaller frame is sometimes as simple as personal preference, but there are a few simple ways to work out which might suit best:
  • If you’re flexible, you might prefer a shorter head tube, so the smaller size might work out better for you. You can use a longer stem to make the reach more comfortable.
  • On a bigger bike, the reach to the handlebars will be longer. This means that if you have proportionally longer arms, you might be more comfortable on a bigger frame.

The Fuel EX 9.8 is a no-nonsense trail bike with a stiff carbon frame that's comfortable, quiet and engaged once you've chosen your path. It's packed with the latest technology like a sleek Sram GX AXS wireless drivetrain with customization options. A 150mm front and 140mm rear suspension will keep you in control on the roughest trails, and to complete the package, Bontrager carbon wheels with a quick release hub.

You're looking for a full suspension bike that can handle whatever you throw at it. You want the vibration dampening of a carbon frame and wheels, a premium suspension that will take the edge off the rocks, and you appreciate the ability to maintain the sleek silhouette with the wireless 12-speed drivetrain.

A lightweight, stiff carbon frame with a full Fox Performance suspension package that turns rock gardens into a highway. Carbon wheels that keep the weight down while ensuring tracking. But also, wireless shifting of the Sram GX AXS drivetrain and tubeless wheels and tires so you waste less time fixing flat tires. You also get adjustable geometry and frame storage so you can customize your setup.

The Fuel EX 9.8 is the result of years of trail riding evolution. It has a longer front end geometry to get you going on steep descents and a straightened seat tube so you can pedal back up. The carbon frame keeps the weight down, while the Sram GX AXS shifter will delight fans of the latest technology
