The EA90 is the lightest aluminum stem from the Easton brand. It is used by a very large number of professional riders on the road and top XC drivers thanks to its excellent weight / stiffness ratio.
The stem is made of EA90 aluminum and is 3D forged, giving it the perfect blend of stiffness and lg. The Easton DST hood distributes clamping force over a wide surface of the hanger, ensuring perfect clamping and ultra-efficient power transfer on aluminum hangers and carbon hangers.

If your handlebar has a high rise (which creates a lever arm) or if you use an aluminum handlebar you can slightly increase the tightening torque, the one indicated by the manufacturers is generally low enough presents no to risk damaging the carbon parts (on which the contact surface increases friction and thus limit slippage).
