Description
XLC has used 3D forged 7050 aluminum for the manufacture of this component. 3D forging provides a better strength-to-weight ratio than other processes such as casting. The use of aluminum reduces the weight of the components, so the XLC All Ride stem weighs only 105 g for a length of 100 mm. The XLC All Ride stem is compatible with bikes with a handlebar diameter of 31.8 mm and a head tube clamping diameter of 28.6 mm. The stem has an adjustable angle of +/- seven degrees and a clamping height of 38 mm. The XLC All Ride stem is also ISO/EN MTB and Road certified for your peace of mind.

If your handlebar has a high rise (which creates a lever arm) or if you use an aluminum handlebar you can slightly increase the tightening torque, the one indicated by the manufacturers is generally low enough presents no to risk damaging the carbon parts (on which the contact surface increases friction and thus limit slippage).
