The Martello Race uses Vittoria's all-new Graphene & Silica soft compound, specially developed to meet the needs of performance-oriented gravity riders looking for ultimate grip on any trail and in any condition. This softer compound offers optimal tread flexibility and deformation. Grip and damping absorption are maximized at every angle of inclination, enhancing traction and control, even on the most challenging sections. Speed through more grip" is the watchword for uncompromising performance.
The Martello Race also features a new 60 TPI reinforced nylon carcass with an additional puncture-resistant layer placed in the center between the tread and the carcass, providing added strength to the tire. The Martello Race uses the same proven tread as the Martello you know. Its motocross-inspired square ribs and directional sipes ensure grip and rolling efficiency. The Martello's tread pattern offers outstanding performance on a wide range of rocky and hard terrain. The progressive width of the sipes in the center and on the sides of the tread provides a tactile feel on button surfaces
