The NSB 1x Variable Tooth Chainrings uses a ‘Thin-Thick’ variable tooth thickness mated with a standard chainring tooth profile to help retain the chain on the front ring during all types of riding. By increasing the tooth thickness on half of the ring’s teeth, the chain is given less room to move and virtually eliminates chain drop when running a single front chainring. Utilizing the most common bolt pattern 104mm BCD, these rings can mount to almost any crank.
Advantages:
- Shave up to 3/4 of a pound off you bike (front shifter, front derailleur, cable and housing).
- No chain noise from the front derailleur. (its gone)
- Less cluttered handle bar – no more front shifter (mount your dropper post remote where you front shifter used to be under the bar)
