Description

The absoluteBLACK Hydraulic Brake Piston Press for 4-piston calipers is the safest way to push back the pistons on your hydraulic disc brakes when installing new brake pads (it also serves as a bleed spacer). Unlike screwdrivers or conventional spreaders, which can crack ceramic pistons or damage seals, the absoluteBLACK tool applies uniform pressure to all four pistons at once—quickly, safely, and precisely. It applies uniform pressure to the piston faces, ensuring concentric and parallel retraction into the caliper, which minimizes stress on the seals and prevents the tilting that often occurs with makeshift methods using an inappropriate tool. Made of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer with titanium components, it’s built to last and allows for effortless pad replacement, ride after ride. Weighing just 13.5 g, it’s perfect for the workbench—and even better in your bike bag for your cycling adventures.
