Description

A clamp designed for bicycle repair keeps your bike safe. Modern carbon fiber and aerodynamic shapes are designed to go fast, not to be clamped into a work support. Safe for painting. Traditional pressure clamps, designed more than 40 years ago for round steel tubes, are no longer suitable for modern carbon fiber, aluminum bikes or complex tube shapes. They can damage light frames by applying localized pressures. The Hirobel® system, proposed by Silca, bypasses this problem by using specially designed cones and supports that cradle the frame at the junctions of the tubes - more robust areas - better distributing forces and protecting the finish. Fits all frame geometries, provides better stability during maintenance, improves ergonomics for the mechanic and is covered by a lifetime warranty.
