This adapter is designed for bleeding STI-type hydraulic road disc brakes, which feature Shimano’s highly regarded hydraulic disc brake technology. It will restore your brakes to their original performance with a simple bleed. Shorter lever travel and easy-to-reach brake controls. To perform the bleed, you will need to use a Shimano ESMDISCBP funnel.
Requires the use of Shimano mineral brake fluid, which is perfectly suited for bleeding your brakes. For instructions on how to bleed your brakes, please refer to the Shimano manufacturer’s manual.
