Maurten Gel Mix 480 is a carbohydrate source for endurance sports, based on Hydrogel Technology. It contains 120 grams of carbohydrates when mixed with 200 ml of water. Informed Sport certified.

Thicker than Drink Mix and more fluid than Gel, it contains 120 grams of carbohydrates per serving dissolved in 200 ml of water. Gel Mix 480 is pH-sensitive—like Drink Mix, it forms a true gel upon contact with the stomach’s acidity. This transformation encapsulates the carbohydrates and transports them through the stomach until they are absorbed and used as an energy source. An additional fuel option for distance and endurance.

To vary the texture and flavor—and overcome flavor fatigue—it can be combined with Maurten Additions: Cola, Menthol, Orange, or Apple. Gel Mix 480 is designed to be mixed and consumed using a Gel Mix Flask. It can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 72 hours.

Ingredients: Maltodextrin, fructose, gelling agents (xanthan gum, sodium alginate, pectin), acidity regulator (sodium bicarbonate).

How to Prepare with the 350 ml Gel Mix Flask

• 1. Fill the flask to the mark with 200 ml of water.
• 2. To customize the flavor, first add your chosen Addition and shake.
• 3. Pour the Gel Mix 480 from the packet into the flask.
• 4. Shake vigorously again until completely dissolved.
• 5. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes before consuming.

Storage instructions: Store at room temperature between 10 and 30°C (50 to 85°F).
