If you don't take whey protein for your muscle recovery, or want something you can take closer to the time of training (and even take it during), we have the right option for you, the BCAA & Glutamine formula .
Muscle recovery
BCAAs are essential amino acids that make up around 33% of our body's muscle protein, and are essential for maintaining lean muscle mass.
Glutamine, on the other hand, is a conditionally essential amino acid, meaning that our bodies can produce it, but in stressful situations such as exercise, infection or surgery, production is insufficient to meet existing needs.
The BCAA & Glutamine formula combines branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) (leucine, isoleucine and valine) with glutamine in a 4:1:1 ratio.
This combination results in a formula that stimulates protein synthesis, promotes better muscle recovery after exercise and prevents chronic fatigue.
As the amino acids are found in isolated form, they are the best option to take during training, as they don't involve much digestion and can be taken even during the most intense workouts.
BCAA & Glutamine is ideal for :
- Promotes protein synthesis and muscle mass gain
- Anti-catabolic action
- Prevents mental fatigue during prolonged exercise
- Accelerates glycogen replenishment and muscle recovery after exercise
