There's more to the Glide headset than its exceptional beauty.

From top to bottom, it's designed for performance.
Each headset features a custom CNC-machined alloy top cap in the shape of the BOX logo.
Cut-outs in the logo reduce weight and highlight the beauty inside. At the center of the top cap is an anodized aluminum bolt that screws into a gold-anodized aluminum expansion plug. The expander eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1-1/8" headtubes, even carbon fiber headtubes.
The top bearing cover is made from carbon fiber, which not only adds style, but also helps reduce weight.
And at the heart of the headset are two super-smooth, titanium nitride-coated and sealed 45×45 bearings. The titanium coating translates into a low coefficient of friction, increased corrosion resistance and smoother bearings.
A slotted split washer facilitates fork installation and removal.
