Following the success of the original Shark disc launched in 2022, Galfer is expanding its iconic lineup with the new Shark® EVO disc for mountain bikes, designed for riders seeking uncompromising performance.
First unveiled at Eurobike 2025, the Shark® EVO disc is now officially launched and available on the market in 2026. An intensive development process has resulted in this ultimate high-tech version; it marks a significant evolution from the previous model and meets the latest 2026 performance standards.
This new model raises the technological bar even higher, while retaining the DNA of innovation and reliability that has made the Shark family a trusted choice among both professional and amateur riders.
The new Shark® EVO disc is the only brake disc on the market featuring the original Kashima coating, a high-end technology previously reserved for premium suspension systems and components. This innovation reinforces its exclusive, distinctive, and high-performance character.
Three exclusive finishes combining style and performance
The new Shark® EVO brake rotor is available in three high-end finishes:
- Original Kashima: ideal for pairing with Fox Kashima components to achieve a first-rate aesthetic and technical setup.
- Black anodized: an elegant and versatile finish that easily integrates into any type of setup.
- Raw aluminum: a raw finish that reveals the CNC machining marks from the manufacturing process, without compromising strength or performance.
