Description

SD BB386 SPINNING BOTTOM BRACKET SHELL - 24MM

This SD Spinning bottom bracket shell is CNC-machined from aluminum. It allows the installation of a crankset with a 24 mm spindle on a frame with a bottom bracket shell of 86 mm external width and 46 mm inner diameter.

This shell is designed to work with bearings featuring a tapered outer cage. Bearings can only be installed in the cups in one direction. The cups are also marked "OUT" to indicate the outer side. This technology provides automatic coaxiality to improve power transfer. Its design makes maintenance easier and ensures reliable operation over long periods, while the angular contact enhances its durability and reliability.

For installation, the shell features an internal recess with 20 splines on each side to insert a tool for shells of the type - square spindle -. This locking mechanism allows easy installation. Its threaded structure limits the intrusion of foreign bodies and increases the rigidity of the shell.
