This year's range of Elite cycling water bottles includes a special new model, the Jet water bottle made from biodegradable material.
Available in 4 sizes to suit all cycling hydration needs (350 ml, 550 ml, 750 ml and 950 ml), Jet combines the best qualities and performances of the Elite water bottles catalog, such as lightness, abundant flow and maintenance of water's pure taste, while using biodegradable plastics to limit the bottle's impact on the environment.

The development of more sustainable alternatives, even for products such as sports bottles which already represent a more eco-friendly option to the classic disposable bottle, has become an increasingly pressing requirement in the face of growing awareness of the use of plastic and the consequences of its impact on the environment.

The Jet drum meets this prerogative because it is designed to significantly reduce its decomposition time when consigned to industrial composting streams, proving to be one of the most innovative alternatives to traditional drums made from non-biodegradable plastic.

The plastic used to make Jet is treated with a special additive that enables the microorganisms responsible for biodegradation to attack the polymeric chain of the plastic used. This process significantly reduces the can's degradation time (from 3 months to 5 years).
This is not possible with products derived from traditional plastics (which take from 100 to 1,000 years to decompose).

The can features a complex new design that is both sporty and functional, since it has made the body of the can more resistant while retaining its lightness and flexibility.

Characterized by a sinuous, elegant profile, Jet features a body designed with a smaller diameter to make it easier to grip the bottle even in difficult conditions, facilitate extraction during the race and guarantee greater stability of the product in the bottle cage.

With a standard diameter of 74mm (66mm for the 350ml version), Jet can be used with all conventional bottle-holders on the market.

The Jet bottle features a custom Elite cap with an innovative push-pull valve which, while facilitating opening and closing during the race, is also designed to provide a faster, more abundant flow of water at all times.

The quick-release opening simplifies washing and drying operations.

Like all Elite water bottles, Jet is also made from certified BPA (Bisphenol A)-free plastics, and therefore complies with all the most restrictive European, CE and American FDA standards governing products that come into contact with liquids and food.

What's more, its rubber valve is made from an innovative odorless and tasteless material, specially designed to keep the flavor of the liquid contained in the can unaltered.
