The Smith Sidekick Jr. mountain bike helmet combines timeless off-road looks with the Mips® safety system, which protects young riders in the event of a collision. From the Visor to the air vents and the high coverage at the rear, everything is reminiscent of models for big kids. And because a well-fitting helmet is essential, this model is available in two sizes and features an adjustment knob to optimize fit and comfort.

  • Mips® safety system: attenuates the rotational forces exerted on the head by oblique impacts
  • Outer shell and EPS foam are combined in a single molded construction, both lightweight and robust
  • Certified to CPSC, CE EN 1078 and AS/NZS2063 standards
  • Available in two sizes: XS child (48-52 cm, age range: 4 to 8 years); S child (51-55 cm, age range: 8 to 12 years)
  • Adjustable thumbwheel for optimum fit
  • AirEvac ventilation system works in conjunction with Smith goggles and masks for fog-free lenses
  • Twelve fixed vents let air circulate
  • Comfortable performance lining
  • Lightweight, compact single-layer straps
